MVB Ventures backs pre-seed and seed founders with a structured, evidence-driven approach—pairing capital with deep operational and technical guidance, including within the Irish startup ecosystem.

  • We typically participate in a company’s first institutional round with initial checks in the range of roughly €500K–€1.5M (exact sizing depends on the round and company).
  • Focus: technology companies across fintech, AI & ML, DefenceTech, EnergyTech, quantum, and adjacent infrastructure where regulated markets and legacy stacks need more than slide claims.
  • Geography: we are open to strong teams globally; many of our founder resources are centred on Ireland.
  • Stage: pre-revenue or early product is fine—we care about clarity of thought, execution, and fit with our thesis.

We can also explore smaller discovery-style commitments for founders who would value hands-on partnership earlier in the journey (scope and amount are case by case).
